West of Gacozark I found three abandoned buildings close together (my wife thought there were more back further in the brush), this former gas station; what looked to be an old diner; and an abandoned house.
The closer I got to this thing the more strongly I smelled what reminded me of when a raccoon died not far from my back fence.
My Internet searches have yielded only only sparse results. All I've been able to find so far is that this once was a Phillips 66 and that it might have been a recycling center sometime in the 70's.
